Our Balbriggan was delighted with the turnout at the Draft Public Realm Strategy and the Draft Active Travel and Transportation Strategy webinar held on March 1st!
The webinar covered the culmination of a huge amount of work that has been completed to date by urban design consultants, planners and engineers engaged by the Council – all of which are integral parts of the Our Balbriggan Rejuvenation Plan!
As a continuation of the webinar, its goals and the development of the Draft Public Real Strategy and the Draft Active Travel and Transportation Strategy, Our Balbriggan is inviting you to take a short survey – we are welcoming feedback and any suggestions for inclusion in developing our Public Realm Strategies & Active Travel & Transportation Plan. An update on the findings from the public consultation as well as information on the next steps for the Draft Public Realm Strategy was included in the webinar agenda, along with also providing an outline of the Draft Active Travel and Transportation Strategy. This is being developed to provide a new sustainable model for transport within the town.
Please feel welcome to visit us in person in the pop-in session for the public at the Our Balbriggan Hub in George’s Square on Wednesday, March 2nd or Thursday, March 3rd between 4.30pm – 6.30pm where there will be an opportunity to view a display on draft principles and concepts emerging from the two Strategies.
