The €15 million transformation of Balbriggan’s Quay Street and Harbour, part of the €54-€57 million Our Balbriggan Rejuvenation Programme, will result in normal traffic flow being altered at Link Road and Harbour Road between the hours of 8am and 6pm from July 16, 2025 to January 16, 2026.
This is due to road reconstruction and resurfacing as part of ongoing works in the area.
Traffic management will be in place along Link Road and Harbour Road to maintain local access, including to Mill Street Town Car Park. Pedestrian access will remain open.
Traffic travelling from Harbour Road will need to follow the one-way system that will be in place.
Traffic will turn right onto the Link Road beside the Viaduct. There will be no access to Quay Street from Harbour Road.
Advance signage will inform traffic of diversion routes.
Local access will be maintained. Emergency service access will also be made available.
