Balbriggan Enterprise Centre to Expand Remote Working Office Space

the Balbriggan Enterprise and Training Centre has announced they will be expanding their office space suitable for remote workers and start-up businesses.

Great news for Balbriggan – the Balbriggan Enterprise and Training Centre has announced they will be expanding their office space suitable for remote workers and start-up businesses.

Eighteen desks will be available, some individual offices, a meeting room and a shared space for use by community groups in the revamped 3,200 square feet facility.

In a survey conducted by Our Balbriggan in 2019, a significant number of residents indicated they would like to see more flexible work space for prospective start- ups and small enterprises in the town.

The Shared Digital Space in the Enterprise Centre is an important community asset that offers support and choices for people wishing to start or expand their business, take the stress out of commuting, or those looking to separate work and home life.

“Balbriggan Enterprise and Training Centre is 20 years old this year and we are aiming to rebrand with a new logo and website by March”, said Balbriggan Enterprise Centre manager Ria Stubbs.

“The new facility will make use of Unit Nine in the Enterprise and Training Centre. The plan is to convert four existing training rooms and a kitchen into a shared work space.”

Pricing

A desk is available for as little as €50 a week or €190 a month, while a hot desk can be rented for €15 a day. Included in the cost are a business address, free parking, high-speed broadband, full-time reception, tea/coffee and not to mention the networking opportunities that arise from working alongside like-minded people in the self-starter world.

“These refurbishment and expansion plans will help support our commitments as part of the Balbriggan Rejuvenation Plan, to support emerging talent, grow enterprise and attract new jobs to the town,” said Emer O’Gorman, Director of Economic, Enterprise and Tourism, Fingal County Council.
